Privacy policy
Effective 24 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use evamb.com, the website of eVamb Technologies. We have written it in plain language, and we have kept the data we collect to the little we actually need. If anything here is unclear, write to us and a person will answer.
Who we are
eVamb Technologies builds and runs software for growing businesses. For anything you do on this website, we are responsible for your personal data. We work to consent-based privacy that meets the rules of the region you operate in. You can reach us at hello@evamb.com.
What we collect, and why
- When you use the demo form. The form opens your own email app with the name, business, email, phone and message you typed, addressed to hello@evamb.com. Nothing is sent or stored by this website. We receive it as an ordinary email, and we use it only to answer you and arrange a demo.
- When you chat with Buddy. Buddy runs entirely in your browser. Your questions are matched to answers on your own device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.
- What your browser remembers. We store two small things on your device: your light or dark theme, and your choice on this privacy notice. These never leave your browser and are not shared.
- Analytics. We do not run analytics today. If we add a privacy friendly, anonymous analytics tool later, it will load only if you allow it in the cookie notice, and we will list it here first.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address and the page requested, to serve the site and keep it secure. These are short lived and used only for security and reliability.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no advertising or third party tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for three functional items only:
- evamb-theme, so the site opens in the light or dark mode you picked.
- evamb-consent, so we remember your choice here and do not ask again.
You can change your choice any time. Open the cookie settings, or clear this site's data in your browser to reset everything.
Your rights
Whatever region you use this site from, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it,
- correct, complete or update anything that is wrong or out of date,
- erase personal data we no longer need to keep,
- withdraw a consent you have given, and
- raise a question or complaint and have it answered.
To use any of these, write to our privacy contact below. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time, and within the timelines your region's rules require.
Privacy contact
If you have a question or a complaint about your data, contact:
eVamb Technologies
Email hello@evamb.com
We will answer, and if we cannot resolve your concern we will work with you and, where one applies, your local data protection authority to put it right.
How long we keep things
We keep an enquiry you send us only as long as we need it to answer you and follow up, and then we remove it. The functional items in your browser stay until you clear them or change your choice.
Where your data sits
The demo enquiries you email reach our team directly. The business systems we operate for our customers keep customer data in the region you choose, encrypted at rest and in transit. This website itself is served through Google Firebase Hosting, which is our processor for hosting.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors to run the website and to receive your email, and we ask each of them to protect your data and use it only for the service they provide to us.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and the people who run them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children through it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and move the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make it easy to notice.
