Cookies, on your terms.

What we store, why, and how to control it. Reject-all is offered at full parity with accept-all, and no optional cookies are pre-selected.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — such as localStorage and pixels — work the same way. We use them only as described here, and only with your consent where consent is required under the GDPR, Quebec's Law 25, and applicable Canadian guidance.

Your choices, and our parity promise

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept all, reject all, or manage choices by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — the "Reject all" control sits beside "Accept all" with equal prominence, and declining is a single click. Optional categories are never pre-checked. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie choices link in our footer.

Categories we use

Essential (always on)

Required for the site to function and to remember your privacy choices. These do not track you and cannot be switched off.

  • evamb_consent_v1 — stores your cookie preferences so we don't ask again. Stored in your browser's local storage. Retained until you clear it or change your choice.

Analytics (off by default — loads only if you opt in)

Helps us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. No analytics cookie is set unless you turn this category on. We configure analytics to minimise data (such as IP truncation) and we do not use it for advertising.

  • Usage analytics — measures page views and navigation patterns in aggregate. Set only after opt-in; typical retention is up to 14 months.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond our banner, you can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting them, or using a private window. Most browsers also honour the operating-system "reduce data" and "do not track" signals where applicable. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Changes

If we add or change a cookie category, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again before any new optional cookie is set.
